When is my MOT due?
If your car is more than 3 years old, your MOT is due yearly. You can use our MOT checker to see when your MOT is due.
Where can I get new tyres in Romford?
Here at Mastertec we keep a range of tyres in stock to get you back on the road ASAP. If we don’t have your tyres in stock, they can be ordered on the same day delivery before 11am. After 11am we can arrange the tyres on next day delivery. We are based in Romford and part of the Good Garage Scheme
Do I need to book a service with my MOT?
It is advisable to service your car once a year as a minimum. This doesn’t need to be done at the same time as the MOT, but many find it convenient to do so. Let us know if you would like us to service your vehicle when booking your test.
How can I prepare for my MOT?
Doing simple checks on things like your tyres, are they inflated correctly? Is the horn working? Are the windscreen washers working? Checking lights and mirrors, all helps you prepare the vehicle to pass its MOT. However, these are all things we will take care of on the day, and we offer a free retest within 10 working days.
What happens if my car fails its MOT?
If your car fails its MOT, don’t panic! You have 10 working days to have the repairs complete and we will retest completely free of charge. We can provide a written estimate for the repairs to be carried out by our skilled mechanics.
